In early December, Parks & Benefits held a workshop on marketing of sustainable tourism in the Baltic Sea region in Berlin. Among the project partners are several EUROPARC Nordic Baltic Section members together with colleagues from Germany. The two intense working days were focussed on developing a common profile and joint strategy for promoting sustainable travel and tourism to protected areas. Click to read more!
Documentation from the workshop on Monitoring and management of visitors and visitor flows in Rovaniemi, November 3-5 2009, is now available on the website. The workshop was co-arranged by the Section and Metsähallitus Natural Heritage Services and turned out to be quite a success- the participants graded the workshop 4,5 on average (out of 5).
