Celebrating the the World Wetlands Day 2012, Estonian Environmental Board is organising a seminar about nature tourism in wetlands. The World Wetlands Day 2012 message is: Wetland Tourism: A Great Experience. Responsible tourism supports wetlands and people.

There are different organisations connected with protected wetlands via tourism - PAN Parks, Ramsar, Europarc, Estonian Tourism Board, Environmental Board, State Forest Management Centre, local goverments etc.

However, local inhabitants are very important as well as local tourism businesses, collaborations with them is obligatory, otherwise it is very difficult to protect wetlands.
